VW Aircon Problems

Recently bought a Demo 2016 VW Polo Vivo, when purchased warranty was extended and maintenance plan also added. As per warranty and m/plan vehicle must only be serviced and repaired by VW dealerships. In December 2017 my aircon stoped working, tried taking it in but all VW dealerships in Cape Town could not assist until 2 January 2018.

So on 2 January 2018 took the vehicle in, once checked out I was informed that a seal needs to be replaced and the this seal forms part of a campaign/ recall on certain models (mine was included in the list), I was told that VW SA has no stock but stock was orded from Germany and will be here with in 2 weeks.

I followed up with VW today 17 January 2018 and was told that there is no stock and part was orded from Germany and should arrive within 3 to 4 weeks

This is really ridiculous it seems VW SA is trying their up most best not to resolve their own problems, Private Aircon Service companies can have this fixed today as they have the correct seals but because of Warranty and M/Plan i cannnot take my vehicle there, Driving in a vehicle with no A/C (cannot always open a window due to high risk areas) is not fun at all!

Is there anyway to get propper service from VW ? Whom can one contact ? Call centers always have the same answer “we will get back to you” never happens!

It seems that most of the people i know was right about this brand - Lesson to be learned DON’T buy VW
