Vw abs module faulty unit
Hi there. I have a 2010 vw scirocco. I bought a new key and took it to the dealer to code. They coded the key and saw an open campaign on my car to update the software on the ABS module. This was an update for the self diagnostic service of the unit. Should after this update your warning lights come on it means you have a faulty unit. The dealership said my car is not part of the campaign to replace the unit so its only part to identify the issue and not to rectify it. I phoned Vw SA customer service and the lady said on her side she can see the campaign I must take the car back. Which I did. To another dealer though. They charged me a heavty amount to diagnose the code and also states no my car is not part of the replacement campaign. So why is it part of the identify campaign and not the repair part of the campaign?? Now upon phoning customer service again all the lady does is apologise but this is not getting to the root of my problem. Thanks.
