Volkwagen using **** parts on their vehicles

I bought Volkswagen Tiguan in 2018. A year later I had a problem with the start and stop button and it was replaced freely because it was still under warranty. The recently replaced start and stop button is not working and this is a clear indication that VW doesn’t use genuine parts on their motor vehicles. I immediately informed VW arcadia in Pretoria and was told that there is nothing they can do since the three years warranty has lapsed. The question to ask is that why they don’t provide warranty on the new parts, because it was replaced recently.

In 2010 while driving there was a smell coming from the car. The car was immediately taken to VW wonder boom, where I was informed that my clutch plate is badly damaged and that I must fix it myself because it is perceived as wear and tear and not covered by the warranty. The clutch plate was fixed however the same problem persists.

I previously had two VW polo’s and never had any problems nor damaged any clutch plate. Why now? With this bad experience I had with this Tiguan I don’t think I will buy any car from VW again.
