Volkswagen SA - Unexceptable service

I have a 2012 VW Passat 1.8TSI. I bought the the vehicle at a dealer with 54000km on the clock still under the VW warrenty and service plan. Close to 80000km the DSG gearbox started to cause a shutter on pull away. This was repair under warrenty, I however found out that the clutches in the gearbox was also replaced on 35000km. Close to 100000km the DSG gearbox started agian with a shutter from 4th to 3rd. I reported this as I still had an warrenty from the previous repair. This time they took their time, I had to leave the car there for them to test, they did the software 3 times. On the 105000 km service the software was done again, but nothing changed. They eventually got the go ahead to replace the clutches again for the 3rd time. Consequently to this the car started to use oil, from about 90000 km I started to top up the oil more than previous times. This was new to me because with my previous Passat and Audi diesel I never had to top up oil between normal services. I only get about 400km then I need to top up oil 500ml x 2.

Barons N1 did an oil consumption test, BUT prior to this when I first reported this the service adviser told me that it must be the pistons. Accordingly to her the wrong pistons were fitted which is not suitable for our climate and that the pistons have probably shrunk, thus the high oil usage. After the comcumption test all pointers pointed to the pistons that needs to be replaced. At this point VW does not want to pay for it or show any goodwill.

I find this unexceptable because I drove about 8 VW's in my life and it is the first time that I hear that a car was fitted with the wrong pistons which lead to that kind of excesive oil use.

Pistons does not start to wear on 90000km, this problem started long before the service plant or warrenty ran out and therefore I feel VW should pay for these repairs. It is clear that with this vehicle thre is a abnormal pattern with regards to mechanical issues - 3 repairs on the DSG gearbox and now the extremely high oil use. The vehice is now standing at Barons N1 and can remain there untill fixed.

a day later and no response from VWSA. Customer service definitely not a priority.
