Volkswagen SA poor service
My 2021 VW polo TSI R line started leaking water into the car due to what was now discovered a faulty part of the air conditioner that drained into my vehicle instead of outside. This in turn has resulted in the airbag control box to become wet and defective and the sensor needs to be replaced. VW Silverlakes informed me that the part is not available currently and needs to be ordered. I now have to drive with an unsafe vehicle as VW Silverlakes cannot afford to provide me with a loan vehicle going forward, they have been extremely helpful and provided a vehicle from Tuesday until Friday and i had to return this.
Again now i have to drive a vehicle that poses a massive health and safety risk to myself as i do not know if the airbag is working or not, regardless of this i need VW south africa to make immediate plans to supply me with a vehicle as i refuse to put my life at risk for a manufacturing fault/defect. I need to be contacted immediately on a way forward in this regard.
Should anything going forward happen to myself while driving this vehicle VW South Africa will be held responsible. Once the part and loan vehicle has been handled, I need a way forward on how this matter will be handled. I refuse to drive a vehicle that has placed my life in jeopardy and with the warranty that can expire. This vehicle has now had water damage and sensors need to be replaced that directly influence my safety. Further to this, how can VW SA not have stock of a critical part such as a airbag sensor? Does the lives of the people who put faith in your brand not matter?
