Volkswagen polo

I purchased a brand new 2024 VW Polo 1.0 TSI with high hopes, but my experience has been deeply disappointing—especially regarding the braking system, which has proven to be both unreliable and potentially dangerous.

From early on, I noticed braking faults that simply shouldn’t exist in a new vehicle. I had to replace the brake pads at just 6,000 km and the entire braking system at 12,000 km. Despite multiple visits to VW service—two to three times—they kept insisting nothing was wrong and merely reset the sensors.

For the past four months, I’ve been receiving ABS restriction warnings on the dashboard, accompanied by all warning lights flashing. I raised serious concerns that the braking system could fail in a critical moment, possibly leading to a major accident. Yet again, VW’s response was to reset the sensors and assure me the car was “fine.”

This is not just frustrating—it’s unacceptable. I expected better quality and accountability from VW. Instead, I’ve been left with a car that feels unsafe and a service experience that lacks urgency or care.

I’m genuinely unhappy with this purchase and the way VW has handled my concerns. If you’re considering this model, I strongly urge you to think twice.
