Volkswagen overcharging

There is a tube in your car where water flows for your windscreen wipers to clean your windscreen. This tube is no more than 1 meter.

Need this replaced? Volkswagen charges you R700 for TEN METERS. They don't stock per meter, they stock per TEN METERS. This is THE ULTIMATE WAY of getting more money out of their customers.

Please tell me why is it necessary for this tube to be sold in 'per ten meters' and not per meter? Do you have any explanation other than "one meter won't make us R700"????
