Volkswagen defective panoramic sunroofs

I was driving my 2019 Polo 1.0TSI and I heard a loud sound like a gunshot or something. I was no where near trucks or any debris that could have hit the car. I stopped the car and when I inspected the car, I saw that part of my panoramic sunroof had cracked.

I took my car to VW for repairs but they told me that the warrantee will not cover the costs of replacing it.

I feel that this is very unfair considering that this was a spontaneous event and nothing had hit the car. There is definitely something wrong with glass they use for these roofs because there’s been many cases like this reported on the internet and yet VW refuses to do anything about it and we are left with the burden of carrying the costs of their defective products. This is really unfair!!!
