Volkswagen

We are highly disappointed in VW South Africa VW’s lack of competency & lack of after sales service. We bought our VW Polo Sedan 1.6 TDI Comfortline brand new in 2014 on 10 June 2016 (still under warranty) the engine lights went on I phoned Rustenburg dealership and took the car in after doing diagnostics they assured us it’s only the airflow sensor plug and the will replace it with the next service which never happened the light kept coming on and then they replaced the air filter after numerous complaints about this issue and reporting it more than once nothing was still done to this problem the warranty expired in January now the notify us that is the airflow system that need to be replaced due to lack of competency, the only find the fault a year later, a year that we drove the car with that electrical issue we contacted VW South Africa with no support telling us they will not pay for it as it's an electrical fault and that we are welcome to log a complaint how can a 2 year old car have these problems the dealership knows about this problem since 2016 and nothing has been done about it due to them not finding the fault, i doubt that VW is still a trustworthy motor after I read all these complaints on internet. We cannot be held responsible for this repair as they have not been doing their work, you have a warranty (at that time) but they do not repair cars I will not leave this issue here. I am totally disgusted and disappointed at the quality of your products, as well as your after sales service. Never in my life have I experienced such inconvenience. This is the 2nd and Last time I purchase a VW car. As a Brand you really need to step back and re-align your focus on two things: Customer and Product.
