<p>I guess South Africans buy Volkswagens (VW) due to the impression that stock/parts are available in SA. Well to my surprise this is not the case. I have been waiting for more than one and a half month now to get a response from VW (SA) on the availability of a headlight panel. I am dealing with Dieyana Brood in VW Customer Interaction Centre in Port Elizabeth.</p> <p>The individual is not at all phased to return phone calls or to provide feedback after leaving messages with Alicia and then with Rene. Vehicle rentals with Insurance companies only last 30 days, which means when you drive VW in SA you will be out of pocket in terms of transport costs. I also battle to comprehend how something transparent like a simple Amarok Headlight Panel needs to be imported from Germany. This brings me to the conclusion why more Toyota Hilux and Ford Rangers are sold monthly in SA than any VW Amarok.</p> <p>I get the impression that the frustration and non- delivery remains with the customer.</p>
