Very bad service delivery

We had a storm in Kimberley on 24/02/2015 and I was caught up in the water. First thing the next morning I took my vehicle to Southey Street Motor because something was not right. I relayed what had happened and ask them to have a look at the vehicle. Later the afternoon I was infromed that their workshop was too busy and they could not look at my car and I could fetch it. Two weeks later Saturday, 14/03/2015 I travelled to Bloemfontein, 50 km before Bloemfontein I heard a loud sound, smoke was comming through the vent and at the bonnet. My car had spilled lots of oil and the engine was on fire. Vehicle was towed to Bloemfontein and on inspection technicial informed me that the engine blocked had 2 holes in it due to damage caused by water in the engine. If Southey Street had done their word would I be in the situeation ?
