Unprofessional Service

On the Monday 3 April 2017, A friend had booked my Amarok bakkie in for a service at VW Kuilsriver as he worked in the area that sperfic day. I purchased the bakkie and needed to have it serviced in order to have the bakkies roadworthy done.

VW had informed me that the service would take 3 days, never the less it landed up taking them 9 days to service the bakkie with unvalid excuses one after the next.

Excuses were they did not deliver the parts and we were heading onto day 5 of the service and then they used the South African strike as an excuse and day 6 was there tool had broke and they need to source one from another branch. VW was aware the Amarok is not licensed as it was there to be serviced for road worthy and they had parked the vehicle outside in the road and a Traffic Officer put a R500 fine for not licensed vehicle and when I had collected the vehicle they gave me the fine without any intention of sorting out their fault of receiving the fine. I had received my bakkie back the 13 April 2017.

They had to service the Amarok and sort out all the oil leaks and I would have expected them to clean all the old excess oil off so I could see if the leaks were gone, VW had told me that they dont have a power hose to clean it!

Its shocking the service a person receives after spending R11 100 to service a car that a backyard junkie couldve done and probably wouldve received better service!

If I could rate them it definitely would be a -8 and they still have the ordasity to give me a experience of service form to fill out. SHOCKING aint the word

I do expect VW Kuilsriver to pay my fine that they received while my vehicle was standing in their care!!
