*********,pathetic customer and car service at Barons VW Dbn

Late January 2018 I booked my polo Gti in for repairs at Barons VW Edwinswales.Repairs was logged on for misfire and switching off when accelerating. The day I arrived at Barons the VW consultant booked my vehicle in and assured work to be carried out and repaired, my vehicle was still under factory warranty. During the course of the same day I had no response from the dealership and I had to call them numerous times for updates. Eventually at 16.30pm the advisor notified me that they found the problem with the vehicle. He did mention that repairs cannot be carried out the same day and the vehicle had to be left with them. I as a customer was left at the 13th hour with no transport to get home or fetch my baby from school,i escalated the matter to Cliffy Govender, the repairs manager and his response was I have to either wait until 18.30 for some one to drop me home or if I need to leave earlier I can my uber myself. His attitude was pathetic and no concern for customers whatsoever. This stage I was highly frustrated and he couldn't care less. I raised the matter with the dealership principal, his name is Shane Naidoo .I am unsure if he raised the matter with the advisor but I was given no option to wait till 18.00. 2days later vehicle was still not repaired and I was told that there was other faults that they picked up and parts will only arrive four weeks later ex Germany, by this stage I was furious and insisted for a courtesy vehicle which they eventually gave.4weeks later I fetched my vehicle after the repairs and they assured me the vehicle was 100%.2days later the vehicle had the exact same fault, this was totally frustrating and to think of a reputable dealer like Barons Dbn to offer bad services and customer satisfaction is pathethic. In the interim I had to pay a repair fee because the dealership could not claim through warranty so I was notified. When I advised the dealership about the fault again they came up with another story that the vehicle picked up another fault in to what it is was originally booked for and they insisted that I foot the bill for that. As an irate customer I took my keys and mentioned to Barons how ********* they perform business. Money was not an issue but I couldn't seem to understand as to how their technicians couldn't detect the fault the same time.My vehicle was booked in to another VW dealership, the fault was found nothing pertain to what Barons originally discovered and to date my vehicle is 100%.. I advise all customers to be aware of the bad reputation and junior technicians that Barons has whom cant detect faults that other Vw dealerships can.I personally think one should never believe and rely on service or repairs done by the Barons team.
