Unacceptable Handling of Spark Plug Issues by Volkswagen South Africa

I am deeply dissatisfied with the recent handling of my vehicle's spark plug issues by Volkswagen South Africa. Despite being informed that fuel quality might be the cause, my car's fuel was not tested, which is concerning given that multiple factors can lead to spark plugs being faulty and developing red deposits.

If this issue has been known since 2020, why hasn't VW informed customers about the potential impact of high iron content in South African fuel on spark plugs? This is critical information that should be communicated prior to spark plug changes. Customers should not have to learn about such risks only after experiencing problems.

As a responsible manufacturer, VW should provide guidelines on how to use and maintain their products for optimal performance. This information should be included in user manuals, disclosures, product information pamphlets, or available online.

Furthermore, it is unacceptable and ********* to assume that red deposits or spark plug failures are solely caused by contaminated fuel. Comprehensive tests should be conducted to accurately identify the cause.

I am extremely disappointed with how VW has dismissed my concerns and failed to provide adequate communication and support.
