Trust VW brand, Incompetence & Breakdown is guaranteed!

I dealt with the most *********** and misleading staff from McCarthy Constantia Kloof dealership to VW South Africa. You are guaranteed to get disappointed if you have any business dealings with these organizations and associate yourself with this brand. I took my vehicle to the aforementioned dealership on two occasions (June 2017 & Nov 2017) for normal service and got it back in worse off condition on both instances. Now the vehicle is completely broken down and was instructed to pay for their ignorance and incompetence. The irony of the whole issue is that VW South Africa was told what to do by the dealership when I raised a complaint with them without investigating the matter impartially. On the other hand the dealership acknowledged making mistakes but refused to take responsibility. I took back the car to the dealership, numerous times citing problems and they simply brushed them aside. The diagnosis given for the vehicle were incorrect in their quest to make me pay more in the end. I guess their mission was to make sure the car breaks down as the car is now smoking badly and not moving, yet I highlighted to them before this damage on the vehicle. Servicing a vehicle is now a money making scheme, the dealerships are in for money only. Their technicians are suspicious and I highly doubt their competence. I was once told that they use trainees and failed to believe it but after the experience, i’m beginning to believe it. VW South Africa personnel clearly highlighted that she follows the lead of the dealership, and could care less. When purchasing a vehicle from this brand and servicing your vehicle at the aforementioned dealership, remember this.
