My Car was booked in for a service at VW Menlyn ealier in the past 2 weeks. when booking your car they advise that all valuables must be removed from the vehicle. I do not dispute that I am at fault but what really gets to me is that I forgot to remove the glasses from a hidden compartment in the car. no one at the service center had any business opening that compartment to clean or service the car. I even called and hoped that in good faith it might have fallen out and some good Samaritan handed it in. yet I was sent from pillar to post and no one even called me back even after leaving numerous messages. its just sad nothing is safe not even things in your own car!
