Stinking Aircon & Service

<p>I took my VW Beetle for a 30 000 km Service at Lindsay Saker Vereeniging. Apart form the normal service I complained about a sour smell coming from the aircon. When booking for the service telephonically I was told by the Service Consultant that the pollen filter will be changed (standard to the service) and that the sour smell will be sorted. Upon fetching my vehicle I noticed that the sour smell was still present. The story changed and I was then told that the pollen filter will only be changed by VW & Lindsay Saker Vereeniging at their cost on 60 000km. If I want it done before then I need to pay for it myself.</p> <p> </p> <p>2 weeks after the service and after numerous calls to Lindsay Saker Vereeninging and to VW South Africa their final answer is: pay for the filter or drive with the sour smell until the 60 000km service.
