Selling of cars with faulty brake discs

I bought a brand new vehicle from VW my first brand new car ever. (Polo Vivo)<br> <br> Taking the car for the 30 000km service I was advised that my brake discs need to be replaced.<br> <br> My brake pads were still fine, but the brake discs were worn out. When asking around people were shocked to hear that brake discs wear out faster than brake pads. <br> <br> I only have a service plan on my car and I understand that service plans do not cover brake pads or discs, but brake discs needing replacement at 30 000km is ridiculous. <br> <br> I found links on the internet whereby clients were complaining of the same thing, one guys brake discs was finished by 10 000km and then again at 18 000 after replacement of the first set by the dealership. <br> <br> I dealt with a lady from VW SA who after weeks of going forwards and backwards said the dealership would replace the brake discs at no cost to me. This was more than a month ago and I have still not heard anything.<br> <br> I phoned the lady to advise her that the dealership has not called me and she advised she would call me back. I am still waiting. <br> <br> I do not want to deal with a call center agent again and I have no choice but the replace the discs and pads at my own cost.
