Scandalous VW cheating my Poor Old Dad
My old dad wanted a car & I made him come to joburg so that I could help find him 1 to buy. we bought a car from VW Northcliff. they told my dad to collect d car from a place in East London. When he went to pick up his car, d ppl there were not happy cos he did not buy it from them. 1st of all, d car they gave him had no car mats and when he asked, they told him he did not buy d car from them. secondly, they also told him if he had bought d car from them, they were going to give him 2 car remotes so they gave him only 1 and another one that was not a remote.in a week or so, d front left car light did not work, he took it in & d ppl wanted to charge him but found that d car had electrical fault &they fixed it. with about 26k(2yrs and 2 Months) done on d car, it has developed overheating according to d VW mechanics in King Williams Town to d point where one of d flywheel has damaged and d clutch plates etc are all gone. My dad drove his ford for 19 years without having to change a clutch and they claim if he had bought d car from them, they were going to repair for free so they r demanding R9086k to fix something i believe could be a factory fault. Is this fair to an old pensioner?
