Rola VW vredenburg

Took my amarok in for an claim . Had it at an suspension specialist they confirmed that my rear shock is leaking , took it in to vw they confirmed that it is leaking but not leaking enough , so they cant replace ? An shock is an sealed unit and not supposed to leak at all . And why is the other shocks not leaking , poor service and vredenburg DP is not the guy for the job .
