Repairs and Service break down BY VW The glen
I booked my car JETTA 6 1.4Tsi Comfortline for service at VW The glen which was booked in for 29/04/2015 for 45000 service, my conversation with consultant ask me any further service that i need it to attended to, I advised that they look at passenger mirror as it was loose and passenger front window was making a funny noise. I was later during the day informed that my car was ready for collection at 14H00. when i get to VW The glen i was advise by service manager that they could not fix the mirror and window. The dealer claim that the car was involved in an accident and it has to be fixed by the peanelbeater who placed the door. This information that the Car was involved in an accident was not disclosed to me when purchase the vehicle last year July 2014. I did raise the sameservice needs that the mirror is loose on the 30000.00 service in December 2014. Mr Paul Boyce, General Manager said if the mirror was booked on previous job he will get my car sorted but when they get the jobcard the assesor noted that they fixed glass. he then turn out that he cant carry cost. My car has scrachres abd i had them polished and the dealer now claim that my car was in accident which is wrong.
