****PY SERVICE!

On the 17/11/2016 was called by Khensani from VW Soweto as i had responded to their email promoting a FREE CAR SERVICE BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS, my car was booked in for Service at VW Soweto, my brother took in the car for service on friday the 18/11/2016 all was well until he collected the car back the same friday.

The car had an error message displaying a flat V2 batttery that needed to be charged as the infotainement will just switch off, so he thought they were playing music in the car hence the error message. I drove the car on sunday morning and the error message was still there.

The car was not used on Monday and Tuesday, then when i used the car on Wednesday the error message displayed, i decided to call VW to enquire as to why i was getting that message since my car was from being Serviced? Spoke to a confused Receptionist whom i had to explain my problem only to be advised that she will refer me to somebody who will assist, spoke to somebody again where i had to repeat myself only to be told that i will have to pay for any service if i were to bring the car back, with frustration i just hung up and even forgot to take their names, called again and spoke to Khensani( she is always of great assistance) explained my problem and she advised me to bring the car back so that they can check what could be wrong.

My brother went to drop the car again on 25/11/2016, and was told once the car is ready he will be called and collected at home, a lady by the name of Palesa called and advised me that my battery is flat, and they will order me a new battery as my car is still under warranty but i will get the battery the next day, so i agreed. Was happy to be told that my battery will be replaced the next day, with the very same breath was told that my car is ready my brother will be called to collect the car.

DRAMA: My brother was collected at home and he spent 45mins waiting for the car which they had to jump start as my battery was dead, ( like how do you explain that as my car was in a working condition when brought to VW and didnt need to be jump started? )

I called VW and spoke to Palesa who advised me that she wasnt aware that my battery died and they will keep the car for the night at VW ( she didnt ask if its fine if they can keep the car overnight as i will get a new battery the next morning, she was telling me as if when i walked into a VW dealer my mind could not function anymore as she had to make that decision for me). as soon as i get home i requested my older brother to drop me at VW so that they can explain to me whats happening.

Was told that my battery died, i am not sure how did that happen as when the car was brought in at VW we didnt jump start the car, ( Clearly there was a FOUL play as my battery was exchanged in the previous service, the battery that was on my car was not originally mine.) Had i taken my car to a different dealer i would have been told a different story.

NOT HAPPY AGAIN WITH SALES DEPARTMENT: Called to enquire about getting or ordering a new Service book as my book was ******, spoke to REGINALD who answered the call and could not even introduce themselves had to ask for his name 3 times and he was extremely busy having a conversation with other people while i waited for his assistance as i enquired on how do i go about ordering a new service book instead he just said i will have to pay R400 and hung up, HOW RUDE.

I am not a happy client at ALL!!!!!!!!
