Poor service with no remediation

I purchased a vehicle from VW Benoni City and gave clear instructions that I required both a towbar as well as roof rack to be fitted.<br> when I collected the vehicle, the towbar was fitted but not the roof rack - the roofrack was conveniently placed inside the vehicle and left for me to fit.<br> When I got home I discovered that the roof rack did not fit my vehicle.<br> <br> When I returned from my holiday 2 weeks later I returned the roof rack to VW. After two - three weeks the dealership came back to me and told me they would refund the cost of the roof rack and that the vehicle was not designed for a roof rack... how brilliant is that? Sell me a 200K vehicle with the understanding that I could use a roof rack only to find out that the vehicle does not support a roof rack.
