Poor Service Deliver VW Braamfontein
Dear Volkswagen
I trust all is well. O recently had my motor vehicle serviced and repaired through one of your service centers (Hathfield Braamfontein)
Date: April 2019 The car had a misfire issue and the Technician (Adriaan B). He then done coil pack swap outs a d spark plugs to test but the issie persisted. He then ran a wet compression test, a dry compression test.
He then advised we need to do pistons and the Cylinder Head. Warranty paid 50% of the cost I paid the difference (Cash)
I fetched the vehicle at the dealership in August 2020 but immediately experienced Misfiring not even 15 kilometers into my first drive and the Technician said It was because there was no petrol on the vehicle. I put Full tanks issues persisted. The vehicle was booked in again.
The Technician claimed for Coil packs on my warranty even though he had previously said it was not coil packs.
The vehicle came back to me but it now had an oil leak which due a bad repair and refitment of parts. The dealership after a long battle decided to pay for the repair and fix it.
The oil leak still persisted and I advised the technician about it and he ignored my requests.
The repair was poor and as a result the vehicle is back at VW Braamfontein Hathfield which it is noe being diagnosed for a camshaft correlation (timing issue)
They are charging me R27 000 to repair this whicb will bring my total repair cost to close to R70 000 over a period of 1 year.
I need the dealership to take accountability for their actions and fix what they have caused.
