Polo Tsi Clutch burnt in less than a year

<p>So unhappy and so disappointed. I purchased a Polo TSi in September last year. It has 9800km on the clock. A week ago while driving home the car didn't feel right and I pulled over. Then the car wouldn't move. My clutch was gone. The car got towed to Barons N1 City. I was then informed that it was the clutch and flywheel which was burnt out, which is not under the warranty as it is seen as wear and tear. R 15827 is what I am expected to pay for this. A vehicle with 9800km on the clock should not have a complete clutch/flywheel failure surely? This is the first VW I have owned. I have had 2 Minis as well as a Toyota and never have I had to replace a clutch so to hide behind this as a driving style issue is just ridiculous. Now Barons N1 City is also charging me R 150 a day as storage fee and have not offered at all to try assist me in any way. Disappointing product and disappointing service. I see 2 other people have complained with this issue here</p>
