POLO 1.2 TSI - DN16GT GP

My Polo was booked in for it's first service (15000km) on Tuesday 22 Dec 2015 at VW Princes Benoni. My car was there at 6.40 am - the inspection was completed at 07.11 am. The Workshop consultant was Chardonnay Bauer <br> We were scheduled to leave to Durban that very afternoon by 15h30 to attend a memorial service the next day. By 14h30 we had not received any calls to inform us whether the car was ready for collection , after all it was merely an oil change. Upon calling VW at 15h15 , and many times thereafter my husband was told he would be contacted when the car was completed , but this did not happen .He was only fetched at 18h30 to collect the car , when he arrived at the dealership Chardonnay Bauer said somebody had messed up and she does not want to point fingers. This is totally unacceptable. Great inconvenience was caused as our trip had to be postponed to the next day and we missed the memorial service. Princes Benoni's website states \ they do their best to accommodate their customers by servicing your car with as little inconvenience to your life as possible". I will never use them again. Very disappointing for Volkswagen and Princes Benoni. """
