PAYING FOR A VEHICLE THAT DOES NOT EXIST

Hello peter This is my second review regarding Volkswagen SA. I bought Polo Vivo from Lindsay Saker, Bloemfontein in November 2018. Less than 3 months later in February 2019, a piston went through the block of the engine, the oil that came out caused the engine to ignite in flames, leaving the car damaged beyond repair. This car still has a factory guarantee so Lindsay Saker, Bloemfontein refused to get involved and referred the matter to Volkswagen SA. The car and parts of the car was reviewed and assessed by Volkswagen SA and Germany. After many phone calls and promises to and from Volkswagen SA there is still no answer from them. I am left without a car and an installment to pay as well as insurance on a car that does not exist anymore! There is only promises of meetings with internal auditors, which was cancelled due to one person who could not attend. Now I only get a letter, almost 3 months later that states please rest assured that we will get back to you. How is it possible??? Dirk Struwig **********
