Part that should have been changed
Disappointed Volkswagen Owner I bought a Golf 6 GTI dsg, as I have always wanted one of those. To find out that the engine light will shortly come on, after doing the correct diagnostics on the car, it was found that the Intake Manifold is faulty. We then found out that this part was suppose to be changed by Volkswagen when the next service was due, but after close examination of the part, Volkswagen did not change it when it was time to be changed and most of those parts where a recall, so I went to 3 VW dealerships and they checked my VIN and there was no recall or change status for that part. And they were not willing to help me any further but charge me nearly R6800 for that part when Volkswagen should have changed it in the beginning m. I am shocked and never expected this from our families favorite car brand.
