over charching

i took in my polo for a 90 km services, then i got a call during the day from the service executive, who told me that my car needs a coolent ok, i did not argue with him and asked how much that will cost he told me its R750 i was shocked, i called 5 different vw and asked if the the coolent they use its any different to the ones bought at spares and all 5 different delearships told me the same thing that its a vw coolent and for a litre its not more than R100 , <br> so now i wonder why would vw hatfield say its 750 if it doesnt even cost that much, i further asked if its mixed with anything and they all responded no. at times you only need to use half a litre.<br> was this guy taking chances with me by wanting to charge me so much or was it because im a female and he thought i knew nothing about cars?<br> i further went to vw rivonia where i got it for R74 inclusive<br> <br> im extremely ****ed off with hatfield taking into consideration that its voted the best services dealer in the country that is why i even took it there, but from R74 to R750 really if it was R200 i would be polite with it i would have assumed that maybe they charge labour but R750.
