One year later and still bad service.

I bought a Volkkswagen Polo from Mcarthy Volkswagen Lavender in September 2015. Martin was the sales rep who assisted me. In October 2015 I heard a strange noice from my new car. I contacted Martin via whatsapp and told his about this. He was very helpfull and I made an arrangement with him to take my car back to Mccarthy to investigate where the noise is coming from. John Barlow the manger drove with me and said that there is nothing wrong with the car, he made me feel like a stupid women that doesn't know anything. I was very upset and went to to Mccarthy Menlyn and ask the mechanic advice me on the noice coming from my car. He drove with me and said that a few things were actually wrong with the car and he also pointed out to me that the car was in a bad accident. I went back to Toyota Lavender and told them what the mechanic from Lynnwood branch told me. They still tried to lie to me and claimed that nothing was wrong with my car. A guy from head office was visiting Lavender Branch and he confirmed that the car was in an accident. In November 2015, after various phone calls and driving around with my car they agreed to replace my car.

On the 14th of September 2016, I phoned Martin and asked him what the service plan on my car is, he said it expired on 45000km or 3 years . I called the manager and ask him to please explain this to me so that I can understand it better .He said to me my type of Polo doesn't have a service plan. I checked my service book and saw that the last time my car was serviced l, was in 2014. I called Martin and ask him why my my car was not serviced in 2015 before they handed me the car and he rep**** that the mechanic made a mistake with the date in my service book. I then asked to meet him I and sort this out ASAP. This morning I went back to Mccarthy Lavender and me and Martin went to Johns office and I showed him my service book and he said to me a car doesn't need to be serviced each year. I pointed out to him that my car was supposed to be serviced the day I got my car from them according to the date written in the service book. The one year date come before the 15 000km. He said that it was my duty to service the car, because they gave the car to me on the date that it was supposed to be serviced. Martin is a very honest and helpfull person and I could see he didn't know how to handle the situation.

I then called a mechanic from Mcarthy Menlyn and asked him if a car must be serviced once a year even if it didn't reach the 15 000km first and he confirmed it. I then called a very helpfull manager in Centurion Branch to get a second opinion and he told me the same thing. I explained what happened to me and how Lavender Branch treated me and he was shocked.

I was **** to from the first day I stepped into Mcarthy Lavender. I went to them to get a good car and service and I got the worst experience possible. I got a good salesman that sold a car that was in a accident and when I stood up for it I was treated by management like I was crazy and not telling te truth. One year later and I still have problems with Mcarthy Lavender. John Barlow **** to my face and he is the face of Mcarthy Lavender. Martin was helpfull and I appreciate it but that didn't fix my problem. I have proof of whatsapps, phonecall recording and photos between me and McCarthy Lavender.
