Non-existent support at Volkswagen SA

I have just experienced a complete lack of support from Volkswagen SA for a car that is still under guarantee! My son has been left without transport in Wilderness as his car had to go in all of the sudden for gearbox repairs. It only has +- 27000km on and is still under guarantee.

Volkswagen SA refuses to assist with arranging a courtesy vehicle for my son, nor did they offer to arrange a rental car for my son who is not at home currently.

Every call I have made to them I had to hear that they do not have a mobility program and they rely on the dealership. The car had to go in to a dealership which is not the dealership from whom he bought the car as he is on a working road trip.

He has been left without transport for 3 days already and has to rent a car at his own expense whilst they are working on his car in George.

I find this behaviour completely unacceptable from such a large company as Volkswagen SA. Not once has the agent that I dealt with at their consumer number escalated this situation or even offered to do so.
