NO OWNERRSHIP TAKEN FOR ILL DESIGN

There is NO SUPPORT UNDER THE FRONT CARPETS of the Caddy. VWSA keeps referring to the wear of the carpets as being reasonable. That is not what I am referring to as I question the support provided underneath the carpets at the time of manufacturing. THERE IS NO SUPPORT AS THE CARPETS ARE STRETCHED FITTED OVER EMPTY CAVITIES.<br> <br> All caddies old / new show the same symptoms that I personally inspected. <br> <br> I contacted the OMBUDSMAN BY EMAIL AFTER COMPLETING THE REQUIRED ASSISTANCE REQUEST FORM. It took them three months to respond and on the same day they closed the case by stating that the vehicle's carpets are in specification with the manufacture's specification. THE SPECIFICATION THAT SHOULD BE REFERRED TO IS THE SPECIFICATION OF THE FITTING OF THE CARPETS AND NOT THE MATERIAL OF WHICH THE CARPET IS MADE FROM - POINT MISSED IN TOTALITY.<br> <br> All that needs to be done is that the carpets need to be lifted, proper support be inserted in the cavities underneath and then the same carpets can be fitted again - THIS PROBLEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED AT THE DESIGN STAGE.<br> <br> CAN LEAD to a serious accident waiting to happen with the sagging of the carpet on the drivers side of the vehicle.
