No Airbag Safety ( Volkswagen)

Good day I bough a 2017 Volkswagen Polo Vivo GP in the year 2018 and ever since I have had no accidents. On the 30th of April my boyfriend was driving my vehicle and someone turned into him causing the Volkswagen to then incur damages to the right and left side of the vehicle as the vehicle that rammed into him pushed him into another vehicle to his left. To my surprise after logging a claim with my insurance my insurance has declared my vehicle a Write Off as the extent of damages equated to R75 000+ What makes this story so ironic is the fact that the vehicle sustained so much damages & it has been declared a write off yet no proof of air bags that popped. I am in complete shock!!!! This incident was bad hence the damages amounted to such but to not the airbags deployed?????? This is unacceptable with Safety! Volkswagen you need to start providing safety to your clients
