New Damaged Goods

I bought what I thought was a NEW Polo Vivo in 2014 from McCarthy VW in Pine Street,Durban. I soon discovered it was actually a DAMAGED vehicle that was sold as new. After many calls and a visit to the dealership, my car was replaced. This was in March 2014. I received a traffic fine for the damaged vehicle in the post in October 2014. The dealership failed to transfer the car back to their name. I informed the dealership and they promised to pick up the fine and sort it out. They never did. I get a warrant of arrest in March 2015. I had to go to court, pay the contempt of court fine, then go there a further two times to try to resolve the issue. All efforts to get reimbursed for expenses incurred proved fruitless, Even VWSA can do nothing about dealerships that bring VW into disrepute. It is disgraceful. I , my family and friends will never do business with that dealership ever again.
