McCarthy VW Silver Oaks: Sold a dream

I bought a 2016 VW Polo in November 2017. The sales person was Wilma Marshall. I purchased the car while in hospital and appreciated her swift assistance. My mistake was I did not pick the car myself nor test drive it, but I was happy with her assistance. It is now February 2018, less than 3 months and the car had a mechanical breakdown. I know have been sent from pillar to post regarding the car and when I will have it back. I have to keep finding out where the car is (at some point no one knew where the car was). I spoke to Wilma and she advised me that as the dealer she cannot get involved or give me a courtesy car. I am so disappointed in this. I was happy with the car, but such a early breakdown is hearbreaking. I am now told to wait another 3 to 4 days. That means for 2 weeks I have no car. Mind you I have to travel to work. I would advise car buyers to do their research. Sometimes we are sold dreams and when they end- the blame is shifted to other indiviuals.
