*********** Staff and worst sales experience

<p>I went to Strijdom Park VW to purchase a VW Polo GTI as per the adverti*****t/special on the Strijdom Park VW Website for R339 999 including the sunroof. The sales person that assisted me was Wesley Abrahamse. He sent me a quotation for R344 208.00. I ordered a Pure White VW Polo GTI 1.8 DSG with the panoramic sunroof and LED DRL Lights. I signed the offer to purchase and made a deposit of R315000 and my finance was approved for the balance due. Today on 26/06/2017 I was expecting to take delivery of the vehicle but I was contacted by Wesley to say that he made a mistake with the quotation and cannot sell me the car for R344 208.00. Furthermore I already sold my previous car privately and have been without a vehicle since the 20th of June 2017. The new car sales manager Jonathan Blackman also contacted me and apologized and said they cannot sell the car at the price of which I was quoted for. I believe that VW should honor the price that was quoted as it is the Sales Person that made the mistake. Furthermore the sales manager should review all quotations before they are sent to customers. I hope that VW SA will be able to resolve my dispute with the dealership as I am extremely unhappy with the *********** service I have received. I have owned a number of VWs and this is the first time I have had a problem with purchasing a new VW. If my issue cannot be resolved I will be forced to take my purchase to another brand and VW will lose my business as a loyal repeat customer.</p>
