formal complaint against VW HATFIELD PRETORIA My complaint is that they failed to provide me with a satisfactory service when … VW Hatfield with regards to my Polo GTI Engine repair warranty. Took my vehicle in for engine repair last year August and they repaired the engine, i paid the amount of R.48200.00 without any arguments and i was told that the work done has a 12 month warranty should it give problems. i had a breakdown 16/02/2018 on the vehicle and took it back to them for repairs under the warranty as my warranty is still active or valid. The manager Richard and Rudi agreed they will cover the labor and new motor Bono for me but i must buy a second hand engine, which was not good enough. I wanted my car to be fixed ASAP we agreed that I will pay for the engine on condition that they will claim the money from my warranty policy, because I didn't want this matter to end up like this which they can't now due to technical errors done when I renewed the policy. However this goes back to they and the stated 12 months warranty they said they will be liable for.

Am now stack without a car for 2 weeks and they not will to assist me on this matter. I was never given any Terms & Conditions that stated the VOID of the warranty. The car has never skipped any services and I have being servicing through them.
