I trusted Volkswagen with my car

last year (2018) December I wanted to change tyres in my car, so i went to different tyre stores and got different quotes and they were all a bit expensive, I was actually looking for my original tyres but they are no longer available in SA, so i went to Volkswagen in Midrand for their opinion on which tyres to buy for my car (Golf GTI) , they told me that they are working with the guy who is selling tyres, he then quoted me cheaper that everyone on Dunlop tyre. i decided to take the tyres. I also bought centre caps and asked them to put them on . The guy told me he is using vw workshop so ill have to bring my car to vw and also pay there. I did not have a problem because i trusted Volkswagen with my car.

14 December 2018 (friday) in the afternoon i took my car there and they changed the tyres, i paid and left. the following day I noticed that my rims all 4 have scratches, old stretches not just minor scratches but they look terrible, i phoned this guy and told him that these rims dont look like mine , i never had rims with scretches , I sometimes wash my car and i know my rims, so he said they are mine. following week I went to vw and complain about these rims, this guy was also there, i spoke to the guy who is the dealer principal he told me they dont do such things. i then asked to see the footage, this guy then said : we will repair your rims merm no matter how much they cost us (his exact words) i told them i dont want repairs i want to see that footage, they said we will show you the footage, you will see us taking out your rims and putting them back. I waited and waited they came back telling me they cant get hold of some guy who will help them to get that footage, they will call me. they did not call me until i reported them to the head office and i was told they will ship the footage to DBN as i was going home for holidays of which they did not. The only person who kept on sending me whatsapp messages was this guy, he kept on telling me that the fact that the centre caps i had them sized and stuck them in with my superglue should be proof that the rims are mine, I rep**** with anger and asked him not to make me a fool because the caps will fit on any golf 6, they were not made for my car. I just want to see that footage if those ****ed up rims are mine that is all.

I phoned the head office again and i was told that the dealer did go through the footage and they sorry they have nothing to do with the damages on my rims and i must call them (dealer) if i want the footage.

On the 17 of January i phoned Volkswagen again and spoke to the dealer principal and asked for the footage, his response was ill ask someone to call you, till today no one has phoned me. I really don't know what really is the problem in showing me the footage if the rims are mine.
