I regret buying a VW Amarok Aventura

I recently bought a VW Amarok V6 Aventura. I noticed that the computer system did not operate correctly specifically the radio. It was only when I took the vehicle for its first service that I was informed that there is a system software issue on these vehicles of which VW is aware and they are working on it. Why are clients not informed about manufacturing problems prior buying VW vehichles? Think twice before buying a VW. Fuel consumption 5 - 7 Km/l less than what I got on mu V8 Porsche. Their poor rating on websites like this speak for itself.
