I really believed in you VW-a dissapointment indeed

I have never in my life experienced such trauma. I bought a VW Tsi 1.2 2016 model October 2017. it was at 14000k when I got it. a week ago I was on my way home from work when the car decided to not go into gears. I nearly crashed another vehicle but I was able to control the steering wheel and stop the car. I then contacted VW to come tow my car "that wasn't a problem at all". they arrived around 10:pm then the car was taken to the nearest VW which was Alberton. I had to contact them in the morning to find out if the car was there and what the problem was...the lady that answered the phone was so rude to me and asked if I could speak to the manager. I explained to the manager about my situation and that I needed to know what was the problem with the car. He said he will phone me after 12pm. by the way I called in at 8:05am. I told him I was pregnant and needed a curtsey car in the meantime....he said he only had 5 and they all in use. well after hanging up, the manager phones me in 5min at tells me that I burnt the clutch because there is a smell "which at that time when there car stopped there was no smell"and VW wont cover I will need to pay R11000. a deposit of 28000 to just open the bonnet. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I was back and forth in telephone conversations and later on I was told I would be charged for storage. I am so disappointed with VW as I really trusted they brand. the customer service and all is so disappointing as my car is still under warranty. I regret the day I brought this car and will advise all of you guys to be very careful when purchasing a vehicle. a brand new vehicle in 5 months they tell you the clutch smells with no clarification. very unhappy and disappointed
