How to keep promises made to the client
On Monday 17 August my battery in my VW Touran died. At first the indicators did not make this clear. At 14h45 VW Constantia were contacted by the VW bReakdown service to assist me. AT 15H30 Frank called me and promised to be at my house by 16H00. At 16H50 he phoned to apologise and say he was on his way. When he arrived around 17H20 we sorted the late issue out and he checked the car. It was a dead battery. AT 17H30 he left, promising to call me by 9 am on Tuesday 18 August. On Tuesday 18 August he phoned at 9H46 - LATE. At this stage he requested the vehicles VIN number to source the correct battery - which he could have looked for himself the day before ! He also stated he was delayed due to another technician using the call out vehicle.

Now it is yet 1 1/2 hours later and I have heard nothing. Whilst I am not doing anything it is not a problem from that side but as a client I am being totally disregarded.

Previous experience has shown that VW Constantia are just being themselves and the only response will be a mail to this site from Frank himself - they do not improve or use the opportunity to do some good PR and improve their customer service.
