Horrible Service with VW constantia
<p>So this is my first complaing after a looong history of bad service received from Mccarthy VW Constantia.<br />My car (golf 6 GTi DSG ) broke down last week wednesday 13/7/16, I took it to my closest dealer VW Constantia to have it checked out. My service Manager Tony advised me my car can only be checked the next day which is understandable as I did not have a booked session. Fast forward to last week Thursday 14/7/16 after having to phone the dealer my self Tony advised me that the oil splitter has gone. Fair enough I ask him to oder one, he then advised me he can only order the part the next day as it was already past 4 ( reminder I had no feedback I phoned in my self) So they orderd the part the next day and only received it at 4 on Friday 15/7/16 an I was advised I wont be with a car the weekend. I then Emaile Tony Monday 18/7/16 as I had not heard anything again from him and he advised my car will be ready for pickup around 5Pm Today. I went there around 16:45 and met with with Tony, he advised me my car is just in its final test drive and will be back shortly. Just past 17Pm I went in to check with him and he came out to advise me that it was infact the Intake Manifold that was fualty. I kindly asked what are we going to do about the situation as I have been without a car for 5 Days now ( Im including the weekend as I do work on Saturdays). He basiclly told me in a nuthsell that there is nothing they can do and I need to see how I get to work my self. I am appauled at this service. I understand issues arrise as you drive the car and work on the issue but the fact that no one is willing to assist me. I am stuck. Carless and mostprobably jobless in the coming week as I'm stranded without my car. I honestly cant believe a Big company like VW cant even spare a courtasy car to their customers where a close relitive of mine had the same issue and was given a Courtesy car by BMW. I was intereseted in a Polo Gti you guys have on floor but I will be cancelling my deal and taking it to anther VW as my satisfaction is something you cant garuntee.</p> <p> </p> <p>Sincerly <br />Jeandre' Van Niekerk</p>
