Faulty door on our VW Caravelle

Here’s a big shout out to VWSA!! VW Claremont has had our Caravelle since Monday for a malfunctioning right hand door. Apparently the wrong part has been ordered. With no end in sight, we’ll have to extend the rental car (we’re paying for) for at least another 7 days. That’ll be a total of 12days and counting...knocking it out the park, Mark! A special thank you to the parts manager @ Claremont for eventually showing “an interest” on Friday afternoon. VW Kuils River had our vehicle for over a week for exactly the same problem. Once again, a very special thank you to Greg @ VW Kuilsriver for going out of his way to try and convince us that there is nothing wrong with the door - when in fact there is! One has to wonder if there is even a realistic possibility of the fault actually getting fixed- after all this is the second attempt at fixing an apparent figment of our imagination,isn’t it?! For the record our greatest concern is SAFETY- Who pays for the hospital bill when this faulty door closes on our 3 year old?! To all of you considering a new Caravelle or Panamerica (+R1mil) I strongly recommend you consider the Toyota Quantum VX Bus. Awesome work VW!! LovetoyotaSA!!
