False Incentives to purchase their product.

I had purchased my 1.4 Polo vivo Hatchback from Mccarthy VW in Durban. This is my first car bought brand new and the incentives that came with the car made it more appealing. I was told by the salesman that the FIRST service of the car was free at 15 000km. I assumed that this was in my agreement otherwise he would not have mentioned it. 15 000km has lapsed and VW refuses to do my service regardless of what was said by their salesman. They said there is no proof of that and they cannot do much because the salesman no longer works for them. They now want me to pay R1 500 for the service that I was told was going to be free.
