Factory Fault Polo TSI 1.2 Polo - Camshaft pulley

My car, a VW Polo TSI 1.2 DSG (41000km on the clock), broke down on Saturday, 9 April 2016. The technician advised my that it was the Camshaft pulley which had broken and that VW is aware of the problem on this model . They did not issue a recall but are fixing the problem when the car is booked for service. I was later advised that the \recall\" started in October and that my car was serviced in August therefore, they could not \"fix\"the issue.
Owing to the nature of my job I requested a courtesy vehicle and I was advised that I could not get one. I phoned VW headoffice and my case was referred to Angelique. She advised me on Tuesday, that until she had the part numbers she could not justify a courtesy vehicle. Part numbers to justify a courtesy vehicle?

The dealer principle advised that my car will be ready on Friday, 15 April 2016 as they do not have a courtesy vehicle.

It is now 9 days later still no car and still a don't care attitude from VW!! Never buying from them again. Hubby will not get the Amorok he wanted after this. Why did VW lie in the Top Car Magazine Dec 2015 issue?"
