Extremely bad service from Volkswagen Strijdom Park

Volkswagen Strijdom Park's employees are very ***********. On the 22 February 2019 I had my car booked in for service, exactly 12 days later my car overheated because of no water. What I do not understand is how the water tank can be empty and leave me stranded on the road with smoke coming from the bonnet when it was recently serviced.

I then contacted VW to express my frustrations and was told that it is not their fault as it is common for cars to break down even right after being serviced. I am told to bring in in for inspection and have it booked for repairs AT MY COST!!!!!!!!

Is this what customer service has become?
