Entire Light Unit replacement for missing S C R E W

While changing the light bulb on my Polo and as anyone who owns one would know entire light needs to be removed. In this process the one S C R E W holding in the light bulb bracket fell and I am unable to locate it. Called to ask if I might be able to buy one guy told me straight up no customer has ever called requesting such a S C R E W and that I would need to replace the entire light. Yap entire light needs to be replaced because of a S C R E W (That is not that easy to source somewhere else as one would think) phoned VW SA as well and they just said they go with the dealership and what they said. Just got the reply stating that I need to replace the entire light unit because of the S C R E W. Thanks VW Umhlanga and VW in general for this. Definitely a bad experience and after owning a VW for more than 15 years seriously thinking a change is needed.
