Double-dealing

I met with the Volkswagen dealer at The Glen approximately two weeks ago to hopefully buy a new vehicle. I told them that in order to continue with the deal they would need to settle my current vehicle and indicated an installment plan is to be within my budget. A week later they came back to me with a bad deal on my vehicle which I declined. The dealer then told me to hold on cause they will try to fight for a better deal.

Out of the blue the dealer sends me a quotation for the new vehicle which was awesome and a few minutes later the finance department from this dealerships sent me the installment plan. Unfortunately the installment plan was still to high and I declined the offer for a second time.

Later on they came back to me with a new installment plan within my specified budget- all in writing which I was then happy to accept! Now Because they didn't have the vehicle in stock they wanted me to sign the contract anyway because the offer would expire whithin a few days which I agreed to!

Being very excited on my new vehicle I receive a call telling me they made a mistake and that nothing they said was accurate! But they are happy to still do the deal at a very high price!! I couldn't beleave that them knowing what my allocated budget was and after agreeing on the amount they now expected me to accept a different deal at a higher cost.

This is to me is very unprofessional, it almost feels like they reeled me into accepting an offer I did not want to do and made clear from the beginning.

Be cautious as in my experience with this dealership they will say anything and later change the offer which can set you back quite a bit if you arent careful.
