Don't use VW Midrand
The service at the dealership, in Midrand was the worst I’ve ever experienced, I drive a 2005 V10 Touareg, I took it to VW Midrand for a major service and a few other issues I wanted fixed, a day and half later I was called by Louise the service advisor telling me they will only did a minor service and they refuse to do a diagnostic and to do any further work on the vehicle, they don’t do any repairs to my model VW. I would like some feedback and reasoning why this is allowed by head office.

28 Jun 2018, 13:25Just spoke to Alex that work in the MD's office and he told he, VW head office authorised all their dealerships to decide which VW they want to service and repair. How pathetic is that, I work in Midrand so now I must take my vehicle to a dealership that is approximately 45km further than the dealership in Midrand. And above that, arrange transport from and to the dealership, and sit in traffic, it would be nice if you buy the car, ones told about this.

29 Jun 2018, 09:02Morning, don't think if you speak to someone in the MD's office you will be assisted with your issue. I spoke to the same Alex this morning nothing was done, which I was told and he refused to put me through to he's manager, best thing to do is don't buy VW.
