Do not buy a Volkswagen in South Africa, especially VW Table View - They do not honour the warrantee and the service is unacceptable

Never purchase a Volkswagen in South Africa, specifically at VW Table View. Post sales service is terrible and they don't honour the warrantee.

We bought a new T-Cross for almost R500k - within 6 months we took the vehicle back due to heavy vibration during braking. We were told it was due to 'rust' on the disks.

During the first service, we told the dealership again that there was heavy vibration during braking - again, we were told nothing was wrong.

Now, after driving the car is simply dangerous due to the drive, the car was taken back to the dealership. With 13000km on the car, they have now found the issue we have been complaining about, but wants to charge us R13000 to have it repaired.

Surely with the history of this issue, VW should be fixing this under warrantee?

My recommendation is: Stay far away from Volkswagen - rather opt for Toyota even Kia.
